Mis-matched intentions and execution.
Once upon a time, there was a chef. His upbringing was humble one and he was always thinking of how to help people, to teach them the way of appreciating food.
"How great would it be to feed people with good food and they'll learn how to appreciate food!" He thought.
And so he did.
He whipped up dishes of various cuisines, and set up his stall at a busy street, 6 in the morning. He waited for the time that people to pass by the street to get to work, in hopes that they will pick up a portion of the dish to eat on their way there.
Well, not too many people did. Most of them were skeptical about the food, others were simply rushing to work. He got rather... upset. "Why aren't people eating my food? I must help them!"
A passerby walked by. He picked up a portion of his award-winning Irish Stew, and gave it to the passerby. The kind passerby took a bite and commented on the dish. Seeing such a response, he gave the passerby another portion of his favourite Chicken Pie. The passerby gave a smile, ate and commented on it. It went on, and on. Until the 5th portion of his Italian pizza...
"Sir, try this. This is the authentic Italian pizza, with the thinnest crust possible. The toppings are..." He explained.
"I'm sorry, but I think I should get going now." The passerby interrupted.
"Nono, try this first, really, you won't get another chance already." He insisted.
"No sir, I know you're being nice, but this is not the right way to do things. Forcing things upon people will not achieve your purpose, and in fact, counteract it. Your intentions are good, but your execution is a mistake that will only destroy any good that you are trying to bring across. You see, by feeding me food, you have taught me to appreciate the food. But by stuffing me food, you gave me pressure and stress that was unnecessary in the first place. I could have tried it another time or something.
Your intentions were good, but your execution is mismatching.
